FSI Services

FSI Best Practices Subscribers have access to a variety of additional services to help them learn and use Best Practices as well as collaborate with others in the Best Practices Network.

Peer Matching – This unique program helps to match non-competing firms with similar interests and concerns so they can interact, share ideas and collaborate on common interests. The process begins by developing a profile – qualities that your firm seeks in a peer organization such as size, type of services, State or Providence and other distinguishing features. When a potential Peer Match is found, FSI staff review profiles with both companies before providing contact information. The results are up to you – but Peer Matches are an excellent opportunity for dialog, ideas and support – all at no cost.

Contact: Info@FSI-bp.org for more information or to begin the Peer Matching Process.

Common Concerns Webcasts – Periodically, when a common interest – or a new, unfamiliar area – of concern arises we will host a Common Concerns Webcast. These no-charge sessions, usually about 60 – 90 minutes, can help spur discussion, evaluate options and emerging Best Practices and create additional opportunities for Subscribing firms to collaborate with others. Watch for news in the FSI Forum about upcoming webcasts.

Presentation Support – Staff members may be able to help with your next management team, company-wide or industry association meeting. Staff may be able to provide presentation materials that you can use, join your meeting by webcast or teleconference – or even present personally.

The FSI Information Exchange Service - Choosing outside resources is like choosing a physician – it's an important decision. That's why you should participate in a no-cost Information Exchange service. In a no-charge, no-obligation conversation you can review your situation with a FSI senior staff member. They will discuss your options, suggest potential resources and help you estimate costs and benefits. At your option, they will help to connect you to an appropriate member of the Best Practices Network.

FSI Professional Services

Learning about Best Practices is one thing; implementing them is another. Many firms need a little extra help to implement Best Practices. That's why FSI Onsite and Professional Services can be so valuable.

Onsite Services From FSI

FSI offers three types of onsite sessions designed to help people use Best Practices to full advantage.

Communicating – FSI staff will help you plan for how best to communicate the value and use of Best Practices. In an informal planning session, FSI Staff will help you develop a plan for communicating the value of Best Practices with ideas for how to develop tactics for learning, using and applying these valuable tools.

Prioritizing – Many leadership teams need help establishing plans and priorities for using Best Practices. In an interactive session, FSI Staff will guide you through discussions to help you identify, discuss and gain consensus on the most effective ways to use Best Practices.

Jump Start Session – This service is designed for those who have identified a specific, known need for improvement and want to use Best Practices to help. FSI Staff will help you develop specific plans, demonstrate resources and guide you to tackling your problem.
